Meet the teacher
Welcome to the beginning of another school year at Sunrise Elementary School. I am Jenelle Conway and I will be your child's resource teacher for the 2008-2009 school year.
I would like to tell you a little about myself. I completed my student teaching here at Sunrise in 2004, with Ms. Schmidt. From there, I went to DeerValley Middle School, where
I taught 7th and 8th grade resource. I was welcomed back to the Sunrise community for the 2006-2007 school year. I am very pleased to be back at Sunrise for another wonderful school year.
You will also be receiving a letter that tells about the resource program. In the effort to prepare the students for the AIMS tests and other future endeavors, I hold students to very high standards. I expect that students come to school prepared to learn and are ready to participate in classroom activities. I believe that students learn in a variety of ways. I enjoy doing a combination of hands on activities, as well as, traditional book work.
